Charlotte Behavioral Health Care, a community-based healthcare agency serving more than 15,000 mental health and addiction patients annually, needed to reduce turnover and prevent staff misconduct in high-stress patient settings. The organization turned to Criteria Corp and its assessment tools, including Emotify, to better identify candidates with the emotional intelligence and resilience needed for frontline care.
Criteria Corp implemented a multi-assessment hiring process using Emotify, CCAT, EPP, GAME, CBST, CLIK, and CSAP to screen for emotional intelligence, aptitude, personality fit, and computer skills early in recruiting. The results were significant: turnover dropped from 43.2% to 20.7% within two years, beating the 34% state average, while staff-patient interactions improved and the candidate experience became more engaging and efficient.
