Atlas Hotels Takes a DataDriven Approach to Increase Retention, Engagement, and Guest Satisfaction

Atlas Hotels, an award-winning hotel franchise group operating 59 hotels across the UK, needed a faster way to shortlist high-volume hospitality applicants and improve hiring quality without relying on CVs. Working with Criteria Corp, they sought a more candidate-friendly, role-aligned assessment process to help managers identify high-potential candidates more efficiently.

Criteria Corp implemented its GAME and EPP assessments, integrated into Atlas Hotels’ ATS, to screen applicants early in the process. A validation study of 374 employees showed that those meeting the score ranges stayed 38 days longer on average, or 18% longer, and were more likely to be engaged and deliver stronger customer satisfaction. The new process cut shortlisting time to zero, increased candidate completion rates, reduced interview ghosting, and helped Atlas Hotels hire more qualified employees with measurable gains in retention, engagement, and guest satisfaction.
