WetterOnline, a major real-time weather provider with popular apps across more than 33 languages and 40 countries, wanted to increase the earning potential of its mobile inventory while maintaining a strong user experience. To support this challenge, WetterOnline worked with Criteo and implemented Criteo Direct Bidder for app to maximize revenue per visit and improve monetization.
Criteo’s direct integration with WetterOnline’s app inventory helped reduce fees, tap into Criteo’s large demand pool and Shopper Graph, and serve relevant premium ads. After a test rollout, WetterOnline expanded the solution across iOS and Android and more than doubled app revenue from Criteo, with ROAS improving from 14x to 24x.
