Petenkoiratarvike, one of Finland’s first pet retailer webstores, wanted to grow its customer base and retain more shoppers as demand for pet products rose. The company turned to Criteo for help with retargeting and traffic-generation campaigns to reach people actively interested in pet food, toys, grooming tools, and accessories.

Criteo implemented behavior-based audience targeting using shopping intent data and AI, including a “Pet Lovers” segment to re-engage shoppers and attract new visitors. The result was 5,000+ visitors to Petenkoiratarvike’s site and improved performance, with ROAS increasing from 14x to 24x.
