How digital advertising agency PlayD drives sales while laying foundation for long-term growth

PlayD, a digital advertising agency in Korea, needed media partners that could deliver strong advertising performance while also supporting long-term client growth. To meet this challenge, PlayD partnered with Criteo and began using Criteo’s machine-learning-driven advertising solutions, including dynamic retargeting, to improve ROAS and help advertisers that were struggling with their existing media mix.

Criteo and PlayD implemented a step-by-step strategy with ongoing training, sales consulting, analytics, and campaign optimization, expanding from lower-funnel retargeting into full-funnel campaigns and new verticals. The results were strong: 69% of advertisers using Criteo through PlayD now run full-funnel campaigns, 35 new verticals launched campaigns, ROAS improved from 14x to 24x, and PlayD grew billing by 90% in 2019 and 15% year over year in Q4 2020.
