Cdiscount, the large French ecommerce retailer, needed to build awareness for its newer travel service, Cdiscount Voyages, beyond its core retail reputation. Working with Criteo, and specifically Criteo’s video advertising solution, Cdiscount aimed to reach travel-intent audiences and engage customers with a format that could support both branding and performance goals.

Criteo implemented a video awareness campaign targeting high-quality audiences on premium publishers across the open internet, while also retargeting previously engaged users. The campaign delivered a more than 30% uplift in awareness, alongside strong engagement metrics including a 79% viewability rate and 41% view completion rate, and it helped improve ROAS from 14x to 24x.
