Studio is one of the UK’s largest online value retailers—a former catalog business serving 2+ million customers a year and now doing 90% of sales online. The ecommerce team faced the challenge of personalizing experiences at scale to lower high bounce rates from channels like Google Shopping, improve conversion and revenue per visitor, and empower merchandisers to run timely, relevant journeys without constant developer involvement.
Working with Qubit and Endless Gain, Studio implemented a data-driven personalization program—using biometrics/AI insights, on-site social proof, product recommendations and SFMC-linked abandonment recovery—to tailor journeys by visitor type. Key results include a 9.3% uplift in conversion and 14% drop in bounce rate from a Google Shopping dropdown carousel, a 2.77% uplift in revenue per visitor from basket recommendations, 4 million customers recovered via abandonment emails, and a 32× ROI on the Qubit investment.
