IFT Boosts Website Performance with Coveo for Sitecore

IFT, a U.S.-based nonprofit serving 17,000+ members, relied on a Sitecore website but used a legacy SharePoint search that redirected users offsite, couldn’t crawl Personify360 or external sites, and didn’t support responsive/mobile design. These limitations fragmented the user experience, reduced site engagement, and made it difficult to surface the organization’s growing body of research and knowledge resources.

IFT implemented Coveo for Sitecore (with a systems integrator) to deliver integrated, responsive, and unified search across Sitecore, Personify360 and external sites, with configurable facets and actionable analytics managed inside Sitecore. Within three months the site saw a 900% increase in search depth, a 48% increase in time-on-site and a 45% drop in search abandonment, plus 18 specialized search experiences and reduced administrative overhead.
