Fasken Rebuilds Online Presence with AI-Powered Search and Recommendations

Fasken, a global law firm with more than 700 lawyers and offices across several countries, faced a fragmented, “brochure” website with 40,000 searchable documents, poor navigation and rigid search that made it hard for clients and lawyers to find relevant expertise. The firm’s goal was to move to a lead-generating, personalized platform that could track context and intent, improve directory usability and tailor content by industry, practice and market.

Working with Sid Lee, Fasken implemented Sitecore plus Coveo’s AI-powered search and recommendations, adding tagging, GeoIP and machine-learning components (including dynamic Client Work filters) to surface intent-driven, personalized content. The new site improved usability and conversions and delivered measurable gains: +22% time on site, +32% search utilization, +46% CTR on ML query suggestions, +12% seminar/email registrations and a 59% reduction in click-rank on search results, while providing scalable, analytics-driven marketing and easier content management.
