MandM Direct, Europe’s leading online off-price retailer with millions of customers, wanted to make on-site product recommendations truly personalized across category pages (PLPs), product pages (PDPs) and the homepage. Conventional product-to-product approaches were not delivering the individualized relevance needed to lift engagement and revenue.
By deploying Qubit’s deep learning recommendations powered by Google Cloud AI (Coveo‑Qubit) and leveraging behavioral, intent and historical data, MandM Direct personalized recommendations sitewide and saw a 2.4% increase in revenue and a 114% rise in product recommendation CTRs. Page-level impacts included PLP RPV +1.8% (CTR +148%), PDP RPV +0.72% (CTR +5.3%), homepage RPV +0.7% (CTR +118%) and a 292% uplift in add‑to‑bag conversions.
