Sopra Steria, a European digital services and software leader, needed a more proactive way to help employees build digital, managerial, business, and behavioral skills while shifting from a traditional training culture to a broader learning and development culture. Using Cornerstone OnDemand’s Learning Management System, Sopra Steria Academy aimed to give employees more ownership over their development and provide scalable, multilingual training across the organization.

Cornerstone OnDemand helped Sopra Steria redesign and expand learning into a 360-degree, flexible SaaS-based program, rapidly converting most face-to-face training into virtual classrooms during the pandemic. The results included 125,000 enrollment requests with a 95% acceptance rate, 4,000 training sessions in 2022, and 1.5 million hours of training delivered in one year, while improving access, consistency, and employee engagement in development.
