Papyrus Group is a leading European paper merchant operating in 22 countries with about 2,300 employees. As digital media shrank the paper market, Papyrus faced declining sales and the challenge of integrating multiple acquisitions; it needed to motivate employees, reward performance, and present a unified Papyrus brand across markets.

Papyrus selected Cornerstone OnDemand’s cloud-based Performance and Compensation solutions (branded as Papyrus) and went live in early 2012. The rollout unified HR processes across 20 markets, was operational in seven months with 1,500 users live, and delivered measurable results: 95% appraisal completion in January 2013, 83% of staff reporting clear development paths, consistent performance evaluation and compensation oversight for top leaders, streamlined HR administration, and improved competitiveness.
