One hundred percent completion drives performance and productivity

One Housing is a UK not‑for‑profit landlord and care provider managing around 16,000 homes and supporting over 11,500 people. Its annual appraisal process—covering performance reviews, objective setting and personal development plans—was time‑consuming and hard to adopt across 1,300 staff, and in 2016 the Board set an ambitious goal of 100% completion without the capacity for face‑to‑face training.

One Housing extended its existing Cornerstone performance system with Cornerstone LMS to deliver tip sheets, videos, e‑learning and guidance at the point of need and give managers real‑time dashboards to track progress. The digital approach achieved the 100% completion target, reduced HR admin, empowered employees to drive development, created a culture of continuous learning and improved productivity, engagement and retention.
