The Colorado Health Care & Economic Security Staff Development Center (SDC) supports training and competency-based curricula for state employees across 64 Colorado counties, connecting the Colorado Department of Human Services, Health Care Policy and Financing, and the Governor’s Office of IT. Their homegrown LMS made it hard for users to find required courses, left only about 500 of ~5,300 employees in compliance, and relied on manual rosters that prevented meaningful ROI tracking and reporting.

After an RFP the SDC implemented Cornerstone Learning to centralize training, consolidate data, and customize the portal to state branding.
