How YANMAR America Drives Business Growth and Customer Satisfaction

Yanmar, a leader in diesel engines and equipment, needed a better way to train dealers and customers at scale so they could sell, use, maintain, and repair Yanmar products more effectively. The company partnered with Cornerstone OnDemand and selected Saba Cloud Extended Enterprise to expand training access and move beyond instructor-led training, especially as COVID-19 forced learning online.

With Cornerstone OnDemand, Yanmar launched its branded POWER//Train platform and rapidly grew its online library from 10 vendor-sourced titles to nearly 200 courses, including about 70 new courses in 2020. The solution improved customer and partner satisfaction, saved time and expense, supported a smooth shift to remote training, and became a competitive differentiator; Yanmar also began standardizing training globally across the U.S., Europe, Japan, and Singapore in 12 languages.
