Penn Community Bank, a 320-employee independent mutual bank based in Perkasie, PA, began using Cornerstone’s learning and performance platforms in 2017 to modernize training and performance management. When COVID-19 forced a sudden shift to remote work, the bank needed to rapidly roll out a telecommuting policy, sustain clear communications, and keep employees engaged and productive.
Using Cornerstone Learning, Performance and Content Anytime, Penn Community Bank distributed policies with required sign-offs, delivered weekly bulletins, pushed compliance and remote-work courses via Cornerstone Cares, and adjusted performance reviews to recognize adaptability. In six weeks the bank recorded over 400 course registrations across 190+ users (4,000+ learning minutes), 70% adoption of Cornerstone Cares content, and a 100% increase in CyberU course completions, while customizable performance tasks helped managers track goals and recognize contributors.
