KAR Global, a Carmel, Indiana–based Fortune 1000 provider of technology-driven remarketing solutions with a growing global footprint, needed to move beyond basic compliance training to a more robust learning and development program that would support employee growth across North America and Europe. As the company expanded, leaders wanted a scalable way to offer professional skills development and multilingual content to boost voluntary engagement and prepare employees for internal mobility.

KAR added Cornerstone Content Anytime (Professional Skills) in January 2020 and launched a targeted promotional program to raise awareness. The expanded library—thousands of courses from dozens of vendors, including 500 Spanish- and 400 French-language options—drove voluntary registrations up 286% from January to February and 105% from February to March, supported COVID-19–focused playlists, and laid the foundation for competency mapping and stronger internal hiring and development.
