Prometheus Real Estate Group, based in San Mateo, manages more than 17,000 luxury apartments across the West Coast and employs about 675 people. In 2011 Prometheus implemented Cornerstone Performance—integrated with its ADP system—and added Cornerstone Learning and Compensation to unify performance, development and pay. The new platform delivered early cost savings, achieved 100% adoption among corporate staff (60% in the field), boosted manager involvement, strengthened employee development and productivity, centralized compensation for a pay-for-performance model, and reduced consulting fees; Prometheus is planning further learning rollouts and potential succession planning enhancements.
