Driving Member Engagement & Generating $26,000 in New Revenue

The National Safety Council (NSC), a nonprofit with more than 50,000 members focused on preventing accidental injuries, needed a portal for its Journey to Safety Excellence (JSE) to host 600 resources, provide free training, track member participation and safety trends, and be maintainable by a single administrator — all on a compressed two-month timeline ahead of its annual congress.

NSC built the JSE portal within Cornerstone in 60 days, using configurable templates and navigation to simplify updates (administration now takes 10–15 minutes/day and one day/month for reporting). In six months the site recorded 10,411 page views and 551 views of safety talks, generated $26,000 in new revenue from paid content, and delivered improved role-based user experiences, self-registration and analytics-driven member tracking.
