PGS, a global geophysical company with 1,300 employees across 12 offices and eight vessels, was undergoing a major shift from oil and gas exploration into renewables such as offshore wind and carbon storage. Cornerstone OnDemand helped PGS support the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to talent development and HR administration. With Cornerstone’s reporting and Performance, Goals and Competence Assessment data, PGS improved data-driven workforce planning, automated HR processes including onboarding, and used AI-supported skills assessments to match employees with more relevant training and opportunities. The result was more strategic HR focus, greater skills relevance, and better alignment with shifting business priorities.
