Umpqua Bank, a leading financial institution, needed a better way to scale and modernize its workforce development, learning, and performance programs. Its Premier Banker Program was manual, paper-based, and difficult to track, creating delays and administrative friction as the bank also worked to align systems after a merger.
Cornerstone OnDemand helped Umpqua Bank migrate these programs into its talent management suite, creating a centralized, automated “Grow Together” platform for learning, performance, and succession. The results included performance review completion rates rising from 78% to nearly 99%, Premier Program participation increasing by over 100% to more than 560 associates, phase completions jumping by over 200%, and more than 240 labor hours saved annually, along with over 3,500 sheets of paper saved in the first year.
