Generali, one of the world’s largest insurance and asset management companies, needed a scalable way to upskill nearly 90,000 colleagues across 50+ countries while keeping learning relevant, engaging, and aligned with fast-changing business needs. To address this, Generali partnered with Cornerstone OnDemand and used its We LEARN learning experience platform to support talent development, customer excellence, and a more human-centric learning culture.

Cornerstone OnDemand helped Generali build a personalized, mobile-led learning ecosystem with skills assessments, curated content, and AI-enabled experiences. The results were strong: 84% colleague engagement in 2024, more than 1 million learning hours, over 30,000 monthly users, 20,000+ skills assessments, 60 critical skills identified, and 200+ targeted courses created. The platform also improved efficiency, satisfaction, and customer-centricity by simplifying learning access across the organization.
