VMware Expands Ergonomics Program Globally with One Expert and Cority

VMware, a global software leader, faced the challenge of deploying and scaling an office ergonomics program as its workforce grew from about 3,000 to more than 39,000 across 58 countries. To meet this need with minimal headcount, VMware engaged Cority and used Cority’s Office Ergonomics SaaS solution, appointing one full-time global ergonomic program manager to roll out the program company-wide.

Cority delivered automated onboarding, a 30-minute self-guided training and assessment, data-driven risk filters and planned case management to prioritize interventions. Using Cority, VMware achieved a 46% reduction in employees at high risk for injury, about 70% participation among new hires, a 93% employee approval rating, and saved roughly 30 minutes of manager time per case—allowing a single ergonomics expert to serve the entire global workforce.
