SNPEC, the State Nuclear Power Engineering Company, needed a better way to coordinate budget and schedule, evaluate project cost performance, and produce dependable Estimate at Completion forecasts. To address these challenges, SNPEC turned to Contruent and used PRISM to improve productivity and support Earned Value Management requirements.
Contruent implemented integrated project lifecycle management software that aligned cost and schedule, created a Performance Management Baseline, improved EAC forecasting, and strengthened reporting capabilities. As a result, SNPEC achieved integrated cost and schedule management, dependable forecasts, more effective reporting and data analysis, and saved time by making its project cost control team more efficient and productive.
