ARTC, the Australian Rail Track Corporation, needed a more robust way to manage the Inland Rail megaproject after struggling with paper-based approvals, fragmented records, and data spread across multiple systems. To improve cost management and contractor collaboration, ARTC turned to Contruent and its project management software suite, including cost, change, procurement, and contracts capabilities.

Contruent implemented a centralized system that integrated with ARTC’s ERP, scheduling tools, SharePoint, Power BI, Active Directory, and other platforms. As a result, ARTC reduced manual work and month-end close time, improved data integrity, strengthened approvals tracking and forecasting, and gained better visibility into project spend, changes, and performance reporting.
