Draslovka Eliminating the Need for Spreadsheets in Capital Construction Projects

Draslovka, a global leader in sustainable metal leaching technologies, faced major project controls challenges after acquiring a Memphis cyanide plant in 2021 and reverting to disparate spreadsheets for capital construction tracking. The lack of a comprehensive project management system caused manual-entry errors, fragmented KPIs, and limited visibility into real-time cost and schedule performance. To address this, Draslovka evaluated solutions and selected Contruent’s Contruent Enterprise.

Contruent implemented a cloud-based Contruent Enterprise solution that centralized project data, integrated with ERP, estimating and scheduling systems, and streamlined change and portfolio management. As a result, Draslovka eliminated the proliferation of spreadsheets, gained instant visibility into cost and schedule (real-time CPI and SPI tracking), improved reporting accuracy, and began identifying emerging issues earlier—enabling better project outcomes and more informed capital-allocation decisions.
