Covestro, a global leader in high‑tech polymer materials, faced fragmented project controls across regions with inconsistent cost control, reliance on spreadsheets, and no single source of truth for portfolio reporting. To support its OSI2020 digital transformation, Covestro selected Contruent’s enterprise project controls software to standardize cost, change and schedule management across its global projects.

Contruent implemented an integrated, configurable solution with SAP and schedule integration, centralized change management and standardized reporting, rolled out to roughly 60 projects. The deployment delivered a structured, reliable approach, reduced manual data collection and validation, enabled real‑time portfolio data and fast reporting — and achieved a reported 90% reduction in time spent on data collection and validation.
