How Panasonic delivers marketleading Cloud PBX, UC and Contact Center services

Panasonic, one of the world’s largest electronics producers (£42bn revenue, 270,000+ employees), faced limited market share in the fast-growing hosted PBX and cloud UC arena despite strong premises-based PBX credentials. To accelerate entry into cloud PBX, UC and contact center services and shorten lengthy reseller deployment cycles, Panasonic partnered with Content Guru and its storm cloud platform and provisioning tools.

Content Guru delivered the storm cloud PBX, Unified Communications and contact center solution (branded “storm in Partnership with Panasonic”), integrated with Panasonic’s HDV SIP handsets and TGP600 SIP DECT devices, and enabled reseller onboarding through the Provisioning Portal. The implementation allowed rapid configuration of a Panasonic partition, significantly reduced time-to-revenue for distributors, created a repeatable, scalable distribution model supporting any number of sub-organizations, and positioned Panasonic to offer market-leading hosted PBX and contact center services.
