Tyson Foods, a major food manufacturer, sought to enhance and streamline its product innovation process to better capitalize on consumer trends and collaborate with its strategic customers. To address this challenge, they partnered with Consumer Goods Technology and implemented Oracle Agile Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) for Process, integrated with their SAP system.

The solution from Consumer Goods Technology centralized product data and development workflows, enabling greater transparency and faster speed-to-market. This was complemented by the physical construction of the Discovery Center, a state-of-the-art R&D facility for rapid co-development and consumer testing. As a result, Consumer Goods Technology helped Tyson achieve cumulative new product sales of over $2 billion after the center opened, while the PLM system improved efficiency and accountability across their extensive product portfolio.
