Paramount Farms, a major producer of nuts, faced the challenge of transforming its pistachios from a simple commodity into a successful consumer brand. To build brand awareness and household penetration, it partnered with Consumer Goods Technology to develop and execute a holistic digital marketing strategy.

The solution implemented by Consumer Goods Technology was the creation and support of the "Get Crackin'" campaign, a nationally integrated marketing effort. This strategy leveraged viral internet memes, pop culture celebrities, turning Wonderful Pistachios into a social media star with over 330,000 Facebook fans and 12 million YouTube views. Most significantly, the campaign drove a 233% increase in sales, cracking the top five of grocery store salty snacks in under five years.
