Henkel Digital UPskilling Program Cuts Application Process to 60 Seconds

The consumer goods company Henkel sought to grow its workforce's digital capabilities and better anticipate shifts in consumption. To achieve this, the company partnered with vendor Consumer Goods Technology and Accenture on its Global Digital UPskilling Initiative to attract and train employees.

With support from Consumer Goods Technology and Accenture, Henkel implemented a new, user-friendly HR platform that provided an integrated system for learning and recruitment. The solution included tailored skills assessments and a specialized recruiter toolbox. As a result, the external application process was dramatically reduced from 30 minutes to just 60 seconds, leading to a 40% increase in external applications, while employees completed over 215,000 training courses.
