A ConnectWise CPQ Case Study
neteffect technologies, a nearly 30-year TSP in Charlotte led by CTO John Campbell, needed to move from “good” to best-in-class as the firm grew from a few employees to 30+. Their existing toolset (a limited web-based incident tracker, module-based RMM, and QuoteWerks for proposals) forced manual exports, lacked customer-facing ticket intake and inter-module connectivity, and offered little actionable data or scalable proposal automation.
After evaluating options and abandoning an incomplete Autotask/Kaseya rollout, neteffect implemented the ConnectWise suite—Manage, Automate, and Sell—and leaned on ConnectWise training and IT Nation resources. The new platform automated workflows, delivered transparency and actionable data for engineering and sales, integrated RMM, and enabled richer proposal automation, enabling neteffect to drive efficiency, support long-term growth, and improve customer outcomes.
