A leading travel company, consisting of 28 transportation authorities in France’s Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, needed a modern, interoperable ticketing system to simplify travel for over eight million people. The challenge was to create a single platform that could unify diverse transit networks, manage complex tariff structures from different operators, and allow for online ticket purchases without disrupting existing services.

Conduent implemented its ATLAS platform to create the customized Oùra ticketing system. The solution successfully integrated the fare systems and equipment from all operators, and a central data warehouse was established. As a result, the system was deployed to 50 operators, meeting its deadline and expanding beyond its initial scope. Conduent delivered a platform that enabled exponential growth, provided valuable travel data to operators, and significantly improved the regional travel experience.
