The customer, a major company, faced the challenge of preparing its 50,000 employees for a two-phase pension plan freeze. Their workforce had a limited understanding of retirement planning and the value of their existing benefits. With very little time available, the company needed a simple, visual, and interactive solution. They partnered with vendor Conduent to address this.

Conduent designed and implemented a Retirement Income Modeler, a tool that integrated all of an employee's retirement benefits into one view for projections and planning. The tool was critical to the project's success and was flawlessly rolled out. It was immediately and heavily utilized by employees, receiving more use in its first weeks than other tools typically got in a month. Due to its positive reception, the company is planning future enhancements.
