The client, a major transport company with over 400,000 employees, faced a significant challenge with its outdated leadership and management training program. The traditional, instructor-led format was insufficient, reaching only 40% of its 30,000+ managers and executives. In 2008, they partnered with Conduent Learning Services to completely overhaul the program to meet 21st-century business demands.
Conduent implemented a comprehensive global leadership development needs analysis, which informed a new multi-modal architecture. The solution included a learning roadmap for executives, a business simulation, and a development orientation for supervisors. For the vendor, Conduent, the results were outstanding: 17 projects were delivered on time and on budget, the entire management population of approximately 37,000 was reached, and the company achieved a ten-point improvement in career development scores and was ranked 55th in Training Magazine’s Top 125.
