A leading energy company sought to become a world-class learning organization and required a partner to identify the gaps in its existing training program. Their challenge was to align their Customer Service business unit’s capabilities with its 2014 strategic goals and to formulate a new learning and performance strategy. To address this, they engaged Conduent to perform an Enterprise Learning Performance Assessment (ELPA).
Conduent implemented a multi-year strategy based on the ELPA's recommendations. The solutions included establishing a new governance structure, creating a Learning Consultant role for better business alignment, and integrating eLearning to reduce delivery costs. As a result, the energy company achieved greater alignment between its business lines and the learning organization, increased utilization of its development team, and realized reduced training costs from the new eLearning approach.
