A Conduent Case Study
Hauts-de-France Mobilités, the transit authority for a large French region, faced the challenge of improving mobility for its 6 million citizens. With numerous autonomous transportation operators, journeys often required multiple modes of transport, but there was no interoperability for trip planning or ticketing. To reduce car dependency and traffic congestion, the organization needed to unify these services into a single, seamless "door-to-door" mobility experience and sought a solution from vendor Conduent.
Conduent implemented its Mobility Companion Platform (MCP) to power the PassPass trip-planning application and website, which consolidates schedules, routes, and fares from various operators. They also deployed the ATLAS® Ops fare collection system to handle ticketing and revenue distribution. The solution provided travelers with a unified platform for planning journeys, purchasing tickets, and receiving real-time updates. As a result, Hauts-de-France Mobilités successfully launched a Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS) experience, gaining valuable travel data insights and the ability to easily integrate new transportation options like carpooling into the system through Conduent's open architecture.
