A Concentrix Case Study
IMVU, a video game developer and pioneer in virtual reality social experiences, faced the challenge of safeguarding its users from online threats like fraud, cyberbullying, and identity theft. Lacking existing benchmarks for its new virtual content trust and safety program, IMVU sought a partner to define processes and set metrics. They selected Concentrix to implement a gaming moderation solution.
Concentrix collaborated with IMVU to build a robust and agile support model, which included a team of moderators who operated within the VR world via avatars. The solution grew from 10 to 110 staff within the first year, successfully moderating 300,000 live conversations. This partnership, which has lasted 12 years, positioned Concentrix as IMVU's sole trust and safety partner and led to the vendor being chosen to launch a new integrity line of business with the authority to remove offenders from the platform.
