Pursuit Channel, an outdoor enthusiast network, faced the challenge of being excluded from a major agency’s nationally ranked mid-sized truck ad buy because the agency believed a competing channel had enough reach. Pursuit turned to ComScore and Comscore TV, along with Advanced Audiences, to build a stronger case that its viewers were a valuable automotive audience.

ComScore helped Pursuit use national reporting and automotive audience data to show incremental reach, strong intent to buy pickups and SUVs, and sustained viewer engagement during commercials. As a result, Pursuit won part of the ad buy, and ComScore data showed only 14% overlap with Channel B viewers, proving meaningful incremental viewing households.
