Comscore worked with a mattress-industry client that needed to reach relevant audiences across online channels and understand how consumers research mattresses in-market. The challenge was to map the online consumer journey, identify which touchpoints and competitors mattered, and do so across three international markets (UK, France and Germany).
Using its panel, Comscore identified mattress researchers and buyers and enriched browsing data with demographics, touchpoint visitation and search behavior over a full year. The analysis showed Touchpoint A as the dominant site and Touchpoint B as the next most important, enabling the client to prioritize investment, choose top sites for advertising, target competitor audiences with advanced segments, and justify increased partnership budgets.
