Swisscom, Switzerland’s largest telecommunications provider, wanted to modernize customer communication while still supporting paper invoices and multiple digital channels. Working with vendor Compart, Swisscom needed a faster, more flexible document creation and output process that could handle millions of invoices in four languages and adapt to changing customer preferences across print, web, and mobile.

Compart implemented DocBridge® Impress for omnichannel document creation and DocBridge® Pilot as a central output management system. The new setup cut document preparation to 3x faster than before, reduced maintenance costs by about 70%, and enabled Swisscom to generate around 40 million documents annually on demand. It also gave Swisscom a single-source platform for omnichannel delivery, with lower storage needs and better support for future digital channels.
