Vision Healthcare is a leading European consumer healthcare platform operating 75 D2C brands across 44 markets, including Flinndal. Facing up to 25,000 daily transactions, its on‑premise, heavily customized open‑source commerce solution struggled to scale and deliver seamless omnichannel experiences (webshops, marketplaces, catalogs, telemarketing), so Vision Healthcare turned to commercetools’ Composable Commerce (MACH®‑based) to modernize its platform.

commercetools implemented a cloud‑native composable stack—integrating Hygraph (CMS), Adyen, Algolia and Next.js on Google Cloud—and moved from signature to production in four months. The commercetools solution enabled 16 new webshops, reliable auto‑scaling for ~25,000 daily transactions, easier component swaps and content updates, reduced on‑prem maintenance, and faster time‑to‑market for new omnichannel features (for example, a paid club membership), improving uptime, agility and growth potential.
