A Comarch Case Study
Polska Telefonia Cyfrowa (PTC), the T‑Mobile Poland operator serving over 13.3 million customers, faced rapid growth and a highly heterogeneous network—more than 15,000 network elements from 30+ vendors—managed by many vendor‑specific systems. PTC needed a unified, scalable “umbrella” fault‑management solution that could integrate with existing inventories and OSS/BSS, support custom adapters for proprietary protocols, and speed detection and resolution of service faults; they selected Comarch’s Fault Management (Comarch OSS Suite) to meet these requirements.
Comarch implemented its Comarch Fault Management module to collect, display and correlate alarms across all network elements, integrate online with network and service inventories and trouble‑ticketing, and provide GIS, logical and historical visualizations plus advanced reporting. As a result of Comarch’s deployment, PTC achieved centralized, unified control across domains, automated fault correlation and ticket handling, improved network reliability and service‑quality monitoring, and a future‑proof platform able to manage its large, multi‑vendor infrastructure.
