T-MOBILE AUSTRIA - Customer Case Study

T-MOBILE AUSTRIA needed a central inventory to consolidate heterogeneous network technologies and migrate many disparate data sources — including passive elements like cables and DDF/ODFs that supply no configuration data. To address this, T-MOBILE AUSTRIA partnered with Comarch and chose Comarch Network Inventory together with the Comarch OSS Mediation Platform and Comarch OSS Framework to create a unified management platform across its multi-vendor, multi-technology environment.

Comarch implemented a central Resource Inventory and mediation layer that integrated 2G/3G, SDH, ATM and IP/MPLS domains, automated nightly reconciliation with the live network, and provided visualization, templates and validation tools. The Comarch solution produced a single up-to-date repository for physical and logical resources, reduced maintenance costs by replacing scattered systems, increased resource utilization through better planning, and enabled improved incident, problem and change management for T-MOBILE AUSTRIA.
