A Comarch Case Study
CARREFOUR POLAND, part of the Carrefour Group with around 300 stores in Poland, faced costly, error-prone paper-based B2B communication with suppliers and needed a faster, more reliable way to exchange orders, invoices and delivery confirmations. To address this challenge CARREFOUR POLAND partnered with Comarch and piloted Comarch EDI to move mass supplier communication to electronic documents and secure e‑invoicing.
Comarch implemented a full EDI solution (orders, e‑invoices, invoice adjustments, RECADV) plus the Comarch EDI Archive, Validator, Dubel and Tracking modules, data conversion, training, project management and HelpDesk support. As a result, Comarch helped CARREFOUR POLAND onboard over 1,000 suppliers, enable thousands of electronic exchanges with most suppliers abandoning paper invoices, and deliver measurable benefits including reduced document and archiving costs, fewer errors, process automation and optimized logistics.
