The Big Ideas of the Future Start in the Minds of Little People

A European telecom giant launched "Digital Highway" to design services for tomorrow’s consumers but needed a partner to research, identify, prototype and validate digital experiences shaped by the next generation. Believing the best insights would come from “digital natives” (born 2005–2015), the company selected Cognizant to help tackle this forward-looking challenge.

Over three months Cognizant ran 15 design-thinking workshops across Stockholm, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Singapore and Seoul with 273 digital natives to uncover needs and opportunities. The research produced a pipeline of validated ideas and informed a complementary “Retail Store of the Future” initiative, enabling the telecom to proactively position itself, create exceptional digital experiences and transform in-store operations.
