The chain asked Cognizant to digitize store operations to improve food quality and consistency, reduce consumables waste and lower employee frustration and attrition.
Cognizant implemented an IoT connected‑kitchen solution centered on deep‑fryer monitoring—tracking temperature, status, equipment fatigue and fault diagnostics—and added a remote control panel to program recipes and roll out cooking routines. The result: more consistent food and faster new‑item rollouts, reduced downtime through proactive maintenance, lower consumables waste and improved employee and customer experience.
