Fletcher Building accelerates modernization by 3 years with Cognizant

Fletcher Building, a major manufacturing and construction company in New Zealand and Australia, faced the challenge of unifying data across its many acquired businesses, which operated on a collection of incompatible legacy IT systems. Their technology division, FletcherTech, partnered with Cognizant to create a flexible data exchange, called the Datahub, to process and publish information efficiently across the entire organization using Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Cognizant worked closely with FletcherTech to design and pilot the Datahub, building a scalable foundation for integrating business units. The solution accelerated Fletcher Building's modernization program by three years, resulted in an 80% saving in data quality efforts, and drove a 10% improvement in business process execution.
