Replicated eliminates local environment troubleshooting hours with Cloudflare

Replicated, an infrastructure software company, faced a challenge maintaining developer productivity as their team grew. Their Kubernetes-based development environment was complex to manage locally, causing engineers to lose hours troubleshooting. They turned to vendor Cloudflare and its Zero Trust solution, Cloudflare Access, to secure a cloud-based development environment.

The solution implemented by Cloudflare used Access and Argo Tunnel to move the entire development environment to the cloud. This eliminated the need for a VPN, allowed developers to use their existing Google credentials for secure access, and made environments easily replaceable. As a result, Replicated significantly reduced time spent on troubleshooting, improved security by keeping code off individual laptops, and enabled greater collaboration among their remote team.
