Platzi, a fully remote global education platform serving over two million students with employees in 17 countries, faced a burdensome VPN that was hard to manage and troubleshoot, didn’t support Zero Trust controls, and created heavy help‑desk load. At the same time, malicious bot traffic was degrading performance and their previous bot solution produced many false positives.

By adopting Cloudflare Access, Workers, and Bot Management, Platzi implemented browser‑based Zero Trust remote access, streamlined onboarding/offboarding and role‑based access, and eliminated VPN‑related help tickets. Workers cut a traffic‑routing project from two weeks to one hour, while Bot Management more accurately separated legitimate users from bad bots and strengthened defenses against DDoS.
